Off late, for some reason, the majority of the post in this blog is centered on a single guy, American President Donald J Trump. Now this post is also no different. This also concentrates wholly on Trump and his fellow followers, who saw him as the light at the end of the tunnel. I think the best reasoning of trump's election was given by the Left-Wing Michael Mooore. He was spot on when he called it as "The Biggest F*** You in the History". I cannot write anything better nor dream of writing anything better; so i directly quote him here.
Whether Trump means it or not is kind of irrelevant. He’s saying these things to people who are hurting. And it’s why every beaten-down, nameless working stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump. He’s the human Molotov cocktail that they’ve been waiting for – the human hand grenade that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them. And, on November 8, election day… although they lost their jobs, although they’ve been foreclosed on by the bank… next came the divorce, and now the wife and kids are gone, the car’s been repo’d, they haven’t had a real vacation in years, they’re stuck with a shitty Obamacare bronze plan where you can’t even get a fucking Percocet, they’ve essentially lost everything they had, except one thing… the one thing that doesn’t cost them a cent, and is guaranteed to them by the American constitution – the right to vote. They might be penniless. They might be homeless. They might be fucked over and fucked up. It doesn’t matter. Because it’s equalized on that day. A millionaire has the same number of votes as a person without a job. One. And there’s more of the former middle class than there of the millionaire class. So, on November 8, the dispossessed will walk into the voting booth, be handed a ballot, close the curtain, and take that lever, or felt pen, or touchscreen, and put a big, fucking “X” by the name of the man who has threatened to upend and overturn the very system that has ruined their lives.
I purposefully chose to start the quote with "Whether Trump means it or not is kind of irrelevant" because it becomes more relevant now. As I said in my many post ealier Trump's election was a reality show from the land of Reality shows. This was the Biggest Reality Show of All. Trump wasn't supposed to win the Republican nomination, but then as Moore said - he was the grenade the people could throw at the system. This was their last and only chance to reclaim their lives. So they went for it.
Strangely the conservative media gave this speech more traction than Michael Moore actually dreamed off. Then they were also cunning enough to use it to their benefit. They simply cut out the part which followed "It will feel Good". Suddenly when they stopped here it sounded like a speech written for Trump and wonderfully emphasizing the change Trump is gonna bring. But in reality the core of the speech was about what comes later. And it ended with the Phrase "Good Night America, you just elected the Last President of United States of America". And that was the essence of the speech. It was not written to commemorate Trump's election; instead it was written at the frustration of seeing Trump elected over Moore's beloved Hilary Clinton.
Moore's word's are sounding prophetic looking at the way Trump is ruling. Then that didn't surprise me, as I always believed that this would be a total circus show. But strangely the conservative media which have cheered for Trump still believe in the miracle. Same cannot be said about the millions who voted for him. The delusion of their looks like have come to an end soon apart from the hard core right wing republicans. At least that is what the latest approval rating is showing! Not sure how much we can trust that?
Regardless of the constant attack by the mainstream media and the liberal left on Trump, a sizable population of his supporters still looks like believe in him. At least the conservative media thinks so. They are still waiting for the Trump Wall, the take down of Wall street manipulators, the returning of Jobs and security, ending up the endless war, ratcheting down the relentless stupid war call against Russia (which could result in the End of World), getting the troops back from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan etc, throwing up a the trade treaties, better debt control, override the Military-Industrial complex, the Swamp Draining and so on. But I think they now start to realize that it could be a life-long wait to see atleast one of those promises turning to reality.
He have gone back on everything he has said in the Campaign Rally. He never meant anything to start with. He said those because he knew clearly that people wanted to hear them. He shouted at the Federal Reserve and it's policies only becuase he knew what people wanted. He had no intention of changing anything. Why would he change? He were one of the major beneficieries of their policies so far. How can he actually stop outsourcing of jobs when his own corporation did the same. It was all a reality show/circus.
People and Conservative economist still believes in him. I am baffled at their trust. They expect him to stand up to the Bankers and fight when the next crisis comes calling. How can he? He got himself surrounded by Goldman Sachs guys at the Oval Office. He is not stupid to know that they will battle for their banking elite friends when teh crisis comes. He alway intended to. Under him they have gone soft on any kind of financial manipulation; he belives punishing the Precious Metal and Financial manipulators only hurts the shareholder. They always does things for the common man only! The endless money printing was also done for the same!
In all of these actions those who voted with the hope of "This Man will look after mine and my Family's interest" loses. He ends up as that sore loser who made that wrong choice. He will be ridiculed by the elites like Michale Moore and his friends. His misfortunes will made fun off. Michael Moore's speech in itself was a way of making fun. It never got seen that way unfortunately. That speech was an explanation of the wrong choice these people made. But then no one asked what other choice did the Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Bob Blow, all the Blows had? Elect Hilary and laid rest to even the hope. Hope is the only thing these people had.
So Mr.Michael Moore you want to listen to the actual reason why they voted Trump, then listen:
Those who voted for Trump never voted because they believed that they could blow up the system . They never in their wildest dream had hoped to defeat the system. They realize better than anyone that the odds are stacked against them, the average working Joe! His dreams of setting up a home, supporting his family, getting his kids a decent education all was long lost. But they still had two things - Hope and Pride. That is the reason why they voted Trump. The hope may get lost soon, but he still has his pride. He voted Trump because he wanted to keep his head high when he go down. When he is beaten down by the system again, he will have the keep his head high remembering how he fought till the end. And that's why he voted Trump! He could have voted Sanders but then, Mr.Moore you never gave him that chance!
